About Us

Clophill Archery Club has been going now for over 28 years. Members have use of its own field in Clophill for practice and competitions. In winter we shoot at the Alameda sports hall with meetings on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. In summer we venture outside for meetings on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings.

What does it cost? At the moment the cost is £75.50 senior and £30 junior for one years subscription (juniors under 18). For this you can shoot at the Alameda sports hall twice a week in winter and twice a week in the summer months. During the summer we hold several fun shoots at the weekends which usually end with a bar-b-que (weather permitting).

In the summer members can use any of the equipment stored at the field free of charge. During the winter you can borrow club bows and arrows as you will need to take them away from the storage facility at the clubs field. These are then returned when we go outside for the summer. Once you have become proficient with the equipment you can apply for a key and shoot at the clubs field at any time of year.

There is a £15 deposit for this key but due to GNAS regulations this is not available to juniors. (Note, juniors must be accompanied by an adult GNAS member at all times when shooting. We also ask that parents stay with their children whilst they are at the club)
